Want to reach the masses? Take advantage of all the CVB can do for you. We provide a complimentary listing for all Industry partners on our consumer website (www.gulfshores.com and www.orangebeach.com) in addition to our annual Alabama Gulf Coast Vacation Guide and other marketing materials. Display space is also available in both the Gulf Shores and Orange Beach Welcome Centers.
Additional marketing opportunities and tools include, but are not limited to, sweepstakes promotions, publication or special section advertising, trade show co-ops, leads, referrals, weekly inquiry lists and tourism seminars.
Complimentary listings include business name, address, phone, hyperlink, email address and 25 words of descriptive text.
All listings are organized by category (i.e., accommodations, attractions, restaurants, etc.) Industry partners are also given the option of Enhanced Listings, which provide potential visitors with more comprehensive information on your business.
Linking Requirements
To be linked from the CVB's website:
- The Industry partner must meet the criteria established by the CVB Board of Directors policy on cooperative marketing opportunities;
- All businesses must be tourism-related or offer tourism-related services complementary to the district's tourism interest;
- The website which is linked must be complete and not "under construction," and links must remain current. All bad or dead links will be removed immediately;
- The property that is represented by the website must be open for business and in full operation;
- There shall be no links to websites with pages containing pornographic material, derogatory or inflammatory remarks about an individual or group's race, religion, age, sex, national origin, physical attributes, or sexual orientation;
- Each company is permitted to have only one listing-- when owners manage more than one unit, a maximum of three units will be listed (i.e., Gulf Shores Plantation #212, Tradewinds #702, Sugar Sands #103).
- The CVB has the authority to edit all complimentary and enhanced listings.
While the Alabama Gulf Coast CVB does not require reciprocal links, it is greatly encouraged.
